We are about a mile from the large sandy beach at Rest Bay (Blue Flag) – it takes about 30 minutes to walk. There is a large car park overlooking the beach if you would prefer to drive down. Younger visitors will love the rockpools while the more adventurous can try surfing or body boarding. Porthcawl Surf School are based in the car park and other facilities include public toilets and Malc’s Cafe.

We are about a mile, so it takes five minutes or so to drive there or 30 minutes to walk in. The local bus stops in the village of Nottage.

The village of Nottage hosts 4 public houses, all serving food and only a 9 minute walk. There are many cafes and restaurants in Porthcawl to suit all tastes and budgets. Our shop also stocks a wide range of cold wine and beer. And follow our facebook page to discover which guest caterers we have visiting our Park.

A variety of bus services are available with both local links and connections to Cardiff or Swansea. www.firstgroup.com There is also a very good taxi service.

To avoid disappointment we’d always recommend booking in advance, just ring us on 01656 783231. During school holiday periods and weekends early booking is essential to guarantee your exact dates. We can occasionally accommodate visitors at short notice.

We have 125 pitches accommodating caravans, motorhomes and tents. Electric hook-up are at 10amp. We are a very popular site and will be busy during peak periods, but we do try to maintain our Quiet time between 10.30pm to 8am and have a quiet atmosphere on site at all times.

Yes, there is a gentle slope from the top of the Park towards the entrance which helps us have the fantastic drainage.

We try to accommodate everyone’s wishes. Sometimes, due to a change of circumstance we are unable to pitch friends together but we will try to site you as close as possible. All of our electric hook-up bookings are allocated a pitch prior to arrival.

Arrivals are welcome from 12 noon and all departures are for 11am, we try to receive all our arrivals by 8pm - not to disturb fellow campers. On occasion we may be able to offer a late check out, but please speak with Reception.

No. We offer free use of our power showers and hot water for sinks including dishwashing. Free hairdryers and shaving points. Free use of the electric sockets, including mobile phone charging. The only additional charge is for the Laundry.

We will be offering a small amount of static caravans for sale later in 2022, please contact our office if you are interested in owning your very own Holiday Home here at Brodawel.

Yes, we do offer Seasonal pitches- electric or standard. These are in very high demand so it is always recommended to ring and check availability. A visit is always welcome.

Deposits are by their very nature non-refundable. We strongly advise that you have holiday Insurance in place.

No. All nights booked must be paid in full 6 weeks prior to the arrival date and no payment can be refunded under any circumstance. We recommend you have the relevant holiday insurance.

Yes. Dogs are welcome provided they are kept tethered or on a lead whilst on the Park. We also ask that dogs are not left unattended while you go out for the day and that any little accidents are cleared up.

Between May 1st and September 30th dogs are not allowed on the main beaches.

You are welcome to have barbecues during daylight hours, but we do ask that you try to avoid burning the grass. If you are cooking on a disposable or low barbecue, please pick up a few free bricks from the reception area. It ensures the people visiting after you aren’t left with a black square on their pitch. Open fires of any description are not permitted for both safety reasons and the damage they do to the ground.

Unfortunately we can not put ice packs in our freezer

Yes, we have CCTV throughout the park.

We have a book exchange situated in our site shop - please make a donation to the RNLI.

No, sorry we do not allow Gazebos on the Park.

We like to have a quiet atmosphere on site at all times but do operate a designated Quiet time between 10.30pm to 8am. We are a very popular site and will be busy during peak periods, but we do try to maintain this.

The Laundry is open from 8am until 10pm in high season. Last wash 9pm please.

Yes, we have an undercover picnic area.

Yes, we have a range of caravan and camping equipment, including blue and pink.

Yes we have a hose set up to fill drinking water tanks and a drive over waste water disposal point.
